Saft Group is a leader in research, development, and manufacturing of high-tech batteries for industrial, communication, space, and defense applications.

The group has over 4,000 employees, 31 sales offices worldwide, and 16 manufacturing units. Saft is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TotalEnergies, a major global player in the energy sector. At Saft in Oskarshamn, over 450 employees develop, produce, and deliver products and services to customers around the world.

This position is suitable for you who are passionate about problem-solving and creative thinking in a broad and exciting business. In our factory, we manufacture batteries from scratch that are exported worldwide. In your role, you will be part of our improvement efforts and contribute to driving valuable changes to processes and products.

Our development department currently consists of mechanical engineers, chemists, and application engineers. We want to strengthen our mechanical group and are therefore looking for someone who is passionate about design and CAD in a manufacturing industry. We work closely with the production unit, marketing and sales, as well as purchasing and claims management to support with valuable technical knowledge.

Saft is an international group, and in addition to Swedish, you must also be proficient in English, both spoken and written. The tasks are varied with multiple stakeholders, and we believe that you, as an applicant, view this positively.

We would like you to have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Development work,
• CAD (preferably Autodesk),
• Project management/leadership and/or
• Battery/energy systems
